Brave and talented registered Westphalian

Loads of potential with this beautiful 6 year old 16.1hh mare! Schön is a confident, athletic Westphalian/Dutch Warmblood.  She is registered as Westphalian and sire info is listed in pic.  She'll excel in your choosing: dressage, hunter/jumping, equitation, fox hunting, or eventing!  She has been ridden for a couple years and been over fences a little but could use someone (AA or JR with professional) to really bring out her full potential. Currently in refresher training at a H/J barn.  Trainer reports Schön is smart, willing to try whatever is asked, and shows NO "funny business" (buck, rear, kick, spook).  Previous owner trained Schön in eventing and took her to horse trials.  I'm the current owner, but a busy mom who travels and can't ride consistently.  Schön prefers to work regularly (3-4 days a week). She's NOT hot, but she's smart and likes to stay busy!

This mare settles right in to new environments!  Schön has an inquisitive mind and friendly personality.  She loves a good scratch on her neck from anyone who walks by her paddock or stall!  With other horses, she tends to be an "alpha", however, her paddock mate at home (a 19 yr old pony gelding) rules over her.

Schön is great with vet and farrier, loading/hauling, cross ties, blanketing, and bathing.  No vices!  She is sound and currently barefoot.  Clean x-rays on file (hocks and feet), current on autumn 2024 vaccines, and float done in summer 2024. PPEs are welcome. Zero maintenance needed.
