The Dixie Gal is a horse of many talents! She is a 6 yr old registered Tennessee Walking Horse mare that has carried juvenile & amateur riders on the trail and in the ring countless times. In addition to holding many talents, she is a very sweet, gentle mare.  I have personally handled her routinely, and she has shown excellent manners in the barn as well as around other horses. The Dixie Gal has been owned by me for 3 years.  She was professionally started slowly and correctly.  Her great start ensured her great foundation, which is evident in her manners and demeanor.  Over the years, she has only improved.  She has won me many blue ribbons in the show ring. She has been all over the United States. She has experienced all sorts of things from the showing aspect. Most recently, she has taken me to the trails where she has also excelled.  She has been my sure-footed, smooth ride in all sorts of terrain. She will move out on the wide trails, and she will also carefully take you up and down the hills.  Water, logs, thick brush, spooky wildlife, mud – she has been through it all like a champ! She has also been ridden in the wind & rain with no problems. She has also been exposed to normal farm equipment – tractors, ATVs, etc.  She is very accustomed to the noise and movement of any equipment. Dixie Gal stands nicely in the cross ties, for grooming, clipping, bathing, and trimming. She has been trailered all across the country.  Loading and unloading her is no problem at all. We have even presented the Flag together!  She is such a great mare, and I am excited for her to find her heart home. Dixie Gal is very patient with her riders no matter the circumstances. This Gal has no fear and will take care of you or your children.
