Rooney is an absolutely gorgeous bay sabino gelding standing a stout 15hh tall. Rooney has the smoothest 4 beat gait you could ask for on a horse. Rooney will stand to mount, walks on a loose rein, steps into his gait with ease when asked, he will also step right into a smooth canter right out of a walk. Rooney is suitable for almost any level rider. He does not get hot-headed in crowds. He will ride in the front, the middle or the back of big crowds, he also rides out alone with no issue. Rooney has been trail ridden extensively in the roughest terrain of eastern Kentucky. They are nothing to steep or too deep for him to go through. He will cross downed trees, mud holes or creeks without any hesitation.  Rooney has by far been a barn favorite for us this year. We have had him to several fun shows and put him in the lead line classes with our 3-year-old son riding him.
