Hero as we call him is a 4yr old 14 hand quarter pony gelding that is well broke to ride, he neckreins, sidepasses and is easy to ride. He is well trained in the arena, he picks up both his leads and has a smooth walk trot and canter.
Hero is a seasoned trail horse and has been up in the mountains in some rough terrain. We have taken him into town and ridden him into the local hardware store. He has been exposed to tarps, bouncy balls and all kimds of obstacles and he takes it like a walk in the park. Hero is gentle and loves attention making him perfect for children to learn with. He was born and raised on the same farm and we are only his second owners. We have used Hero to push cattle and run errands here on the farm.
Hero does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd . He stands to be tacked and mounted and to be washed and stands for the farrier. I think he would make a great 4-H or youth rodeo horse as he is always ready to please his rider. Hero is safe and sound and ready to move into his forever home.
