Sometimes "forever" is not the best way, so I am looking for a new home for my mare "Martina" with the right person.

Martina is a (soon) 15-year-old mare, sensitive, intelligent and empathetic with a rather calm character. However, she can get her "crazy" 5 minutes if she feels insecure, tense or feels "mistreated". She measures approx. 155 cm and is registered as a Pinto/type pony without pedigree.

She came to me 3 years old and raw & has good basic western training. She knows how to work under saddle in the arena, free work, work in hand, walks and loves cavaletti training. We used to go for rides from time to time, but not at all in recent years.

Martina is a very fine horse to ride and requires a soft, calm hand and a balanced seat. If you can't offer that, you won't be happy together.

She is currently being trained further, weather permitting, after a colic operation and an inflammation of the periosteum on her front leg led to longer interruptions.

Martina has a "wooden leg" at the walk, which is more or less pronounced depending on her level of training. She is regularly seen by our chiropractor & we have the issue well under control. She does not show this abnormality in trot and canter.

Due to this issue, however, it is necessary to train Martina regularly approx. 4 times a week so that the muscles can have a stabilizing effect if you want to ride regularly.

Martina's RED FLAGS are, if you:

Martina does not move alone, but with complete & high-quality accessories. Among other things, a custom-made saddle, pads, several blankets (Horseware Rhino, Shires), bridles, halters, ground work accessories, fly masks, grooming accessories etc., virtually all inclusive.

Martina only deserves the very best place for me & maybe you're wondering why I'm giving her away. For the very reason that I can no longer offer her this in the long term.
My own ego should never take precedence over the welfare of the animal, which is why I have made this decision and will only give her away to people who are 100% right for her.
