Breezin Tazzy Cat aka Sweet Pea is a 4 year old registered American Paint Horse with the kind of markings that never fail to turn heads anywhere that she goes. Taris Breezin Cat quickly earned her barn name (Sweet Pea) as she is truly one of the kindest, gentlest, and most willing mares that you will ever meet in your life, we can guarantee you that! Taris Breezin Cat aka Sweet Pea stands 14.2 hands high. Her sire is accomplished stallion Meradas Cat Alena and her grand sire is the one and only Cats Merada who boasts an overall LTE of 5 MILLION dollars! Sweet Peas dam is a 1D barrel horse that won her 2 year old futurity.(her dam was foaled in 1997) Mr. Star Breeze (her dams sire) has sired many horses that have been succesful in roping events, barrels, as well as poles. Sweet Peas has always been brought along in her riding journey slowly and correctly and we absolutely welcome a PPE at buyers expense. We also are more than happy to allow any serious buyers the opportunity to ride her themselves to see just how fabulous this mare truly is for yourself. She has been ridden extensively and will go in English tack, Western tack, or even bareback. Sweet Pea ois one of the smoothest moving mares that you will ever have the pleasure of swinging a leg over. This mare has been started slowly and correctly and has always been sound and will hold up a LOT LONGER AND BETTER than the horses that were pushed really hard as a 2 or 3 yo. She may only be 5 years old but this mare is one of a kind and always keeps her cool whenever she has been presented with anything new. She has been used in our lesson program and has shown her ability to adapt to just about and level or age of rider. This mare is the kind of horse to stop her all youve got to do is say the word whoah and sit in your seat and she will tuck her butt and come to a sliding stop. She also been ridden on the road as well as crosses bridges, obstacles, and tarps etc. Sweet pea is also trick trained and her tricks she can perform are laying down for mounting, bowing, as well as sitting down. She has participate in a 4 day 3 night trail ride where she put in 35 miles on the trails with varying levels of riders throughout the trip. She even rode from Pleasant Hill Lake Park all the way to Mount Geez and had to cross roads, rivers, and fallen limbs etc in order to make the ride. She is truly the definition of a push button style horse that goes in whatever direction you ask at whatever speed that you ask for. She also has very good verbal cues on the ground as well as under saddle. Our three year old son actually often gets her out of her stall and can lead her without issue. Sweet Pea has also been swam bareback through our pond and even into the deep end where she cannot touch. I was even amazed at just how quickly she was able to pickup riding completely bridleless through our obstacle course without any worry or concern. I also have to say that she has fantastic ground manners and also is started on some liberty work as well. She also has been over smaller jumps in English tack a handful of times and also has worked cattle a couple times as well. We have lots going on at our facility like tractors , cats, kids, dogs, side by sides, and even a back hoe and shes never been bothered by any of it. She has always had such a softness and quietness about her demeanor she truly is an old soul with the mind of a horse easily twice her age. We definately will miss having her with us because she often my go to for a variety of different jobs and activities and due to her safe nature and willing to please mindset. Sweet Pea is also fantatic about loading into a trailer, hauling new places, for the ferrer/vet, worming, as well as cross tying or standing on a highline overnight. She is on the middle of the totem pole when turned out with other horses and get along with every horse that we hvae introduced her to. Sweet Pea is extremely versatile and could go any direction such as staying a lesson horse, trick riding, Liberty work, Roping, Trail, Contesting, cutting and Penning, or even a super cute Hunter/Jumper. Sweet Pea has a current Coggins/Health certificate and we can help get you setup with a couple reputable haulers that are reasonably priced. We have a signed transfer through American Paint Horse Association so that buyer can get her transferred into their name as well. If you have any questions about Breezin Tazzy Cat aka Sweet Pea or would like to schedule a day to come meet and ride her at our facility in Ashland Ohio. Call or text Jonas Miller 419-512-7885.
