Versatile is the best way to describe Poncho, he is as gentle as one comes and is the perfect family gelding. We have gathered cattle on Poncho all over the ranch, caught wild cattle and we have played in the cow sorting pen at home with Poncho.
Poncho is excellent and easy to ride in the arena. He has a nice slow jog and lope, he will ride on a loose rein in the arena and is one hand broke. Poncho has a beautiful turn around, he backs up, and will side pass.
Poncho rides very quiet out on the busy streets and takes everything with ease! He has been ridden near heavy traffic, trash trucks, and loud noises. Poncho has been exposed to thick brush, steep trails and is sure footed. Poncho is good with tarps, you can ride him with a flag and he will have no spook.
Poncho has been ridden in a lesson program and has had tons of beginners on his back. He is a solid, reliable mount that will take care of your family!
