If beauty with a brain are on your ‘mandatory checklist’, LOOK NO FURTHER! Take a minute and admire, Fade, a 10 year old, Palomino Tobiano gelding. One may think writing footnotes for a horse that’s done it all would be a really simple process, but that is far from true. Fade has such a long resume, it tends to come across as boastful or “there’s no way he’s done all of this.” Well, he has and we’ve got the video proof to show it. Fade has been to town, the ranch, the arena, the trails, AND the beach. He started his riding career in a reining program where he learned all of the fundamentals. He then went work at a large cow/calf operation in Northern California where he was used for all of the ranch chores; dragging calves to the fire, sorting pairs, tagging/doctoring calves, gathering, and shipping. While he was being used on the ranch, he was also started in the arena on the head and heel side. Fade has the manners, work ethic, and diligence that is required to get tough jobs done. Are parades or queen contests in your near future? He’s seen plenty of those as well. Fade is a true, blue all around hand! He’s sure footed out on the trails, handy to use on the ranch, mesmerizing to look at, user friendly to ride, and stays gentle year round. His one owner before us was a 67 year old gentleman with multiple sclerosis. Fade was the horse he caught and rode. He is smooth traveling and adjusts to whatever level rider is on his back. He has no bad habits or vices and sells 100% SOUND. Fade stands 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1200 lbs. He has all the bone, foot, and substance to last forever. He’s been exposed to zebras, ostriches, waves on the beach, flags, tarps, cattle, rough terrain, bright lights, traffic, dogs. There’s honestly not one thing Fade hasn’t tackled.
