Josephine is a 9-year-old, 13.2 hand beautiful bay mule. She has been owned by Charles and Virgina Chandler for several years. Josephine was Charles’s personal ride. They have been many miles together in those years. They traveled all over southeast Oklahoma trail riding. Sadly, a few days before Thanksgiving this past year, Charles passed away. Josephine was lead in his funeral presession carrying his boot backward boots. She rode with him until the end.
Josephine is a very sweet mule. She loves attention. She is easy to handle, saddle, groom, and trailer. Josephine will ride confidently and safely in the front of the trail ride or calmly and quietly in the back of the pack too. She is just easy going no matter the terrain. She will go up and down steep hills slowly, she will cross water without any issues, she carries a crupper and a breeching, and she is good around dogs. Josephine is an easy keeper, Charles always said “she could stay fat on air”. Josephine does not need to be rode regularly to stay broke. She is always the same mule every time you pull her out of the pasture. She is safe when handling her feet and ears.
Josephine is looking for her next life partner. She will be there with you until the end.
