Josie is a 7year old, 40”, bay dun Molly mule. She is an extremely safe, quiet, and gentle pony mule. She is suitable for different ages and levels of kids and your kid can grow and improve either her without outgrowing her abilities quickly. Our toddlers do leadline with her and are riding her independently in a controlled environment. She listens well to their cues and is forgiving of mistakes. Bigger and more experienced kids can have A LOT of fun with her! She will walk, trot, and canter. Josie will back nicely and even can be ridden one handed. Josie rides out I independently or with a group on trail rides. If your kiddo isn’t quite ready to trail ride by themselves, you can pony her with a big horse down the trails. She has been ridden out to check cows and doesn’t get scared of them. Kids have even used her at the stockyards to push cattle down the alley ways. you can throw a rope off of her as well. If you can do it with a big mule, you can do it with Josie too! On the ground, she has excellent ground manners. She is gentle for the kids to lead by themselves. She will stand for hours to be brushed and messed with. You can pickup all 4 feet with ease. She loads and unloads and is careful for the littles to learn to do it with her. The mold was broken with Josie, they very rarely come like her! She travels well and we have had zero issues with her.
