Rosy Carmen is a still somewhat youthful mare with a lot of charisma. She has good movements and an active canter. She jumps with all the quality and she combines an excellent technique with a lot of effort and scope. Rosy Carmen has just been started under saddle, good character, bloodtype, but honest. Sire Donthargos combines the blood of Maurice Tebbel's top show jumper Don Diarado with the blood of sport horse progenitor Conthargos. He stood out as a young stallion for his quick reflexes and athletic ability. Rosy Carmen's dam is the F-One USA mare Kahlua-Carmen, who herself performs already at international 1.45m level under Daan van Geel. Granddam Gigi-Carmen (by Bacardi VDL) even competes at 1.60m-level and managed to win no less than two 5* Grand Prix under John Perez Bohm in 2023. The 1.60m horse Hangover (by Action-Breaker) is also from the direct dam line of Rosy Carmen, as are the 1.45m horses Uleia (by Oklund) and Efraim (by Namelus R).Further on in the dam line we also see the 1.55m horse Excentriek (by Ustinov) and the 1.50m jumping EIC Lourdes (by Grandorado TN) under Max Kühner.
