Dolly is a 4 year old Gypsy Vanner x Quarter Horse mare. She stands at about 15.1 hands and has the sweetest personality possible, not to mention that gorgeous mane. This beautiful one of a kind mare is also kind, brave, and will handle everything you throw at her, (literally). She is always willing to learn and puts her best foot forward. This gorgeous young mare is intelligent and wise beyond her years. Dolly is a great partner both in and out of the arena. Now, this mare is definitely pretty, but in my opinion, her most admirable quality is her gentle mind and her capability to take care of the little ones. My little sister has spent time with many horses, but every time she walks in the barn she always runs to Dolly first. This sweet mare has treated her with kindness and care always, further proving how good-minded she is.
In the ring, she has the most comfortable walk, trot, and canter for any level rider. She will neck rein, side pass, and ride in english tack, making her a great choice for any job that you are looking to fill. She will go down the trail, through traffic, through water and even take a jump without a second thought. She loves going on new adventures and she will love exploring all of the new places that you will take her! As for out of the tack, she is always willing to hang out and socialize. Whether you’re grooming her, hanging out in the stall, or practicing your newest tricks… she is always up to have some fun! She is great in the barn and pasture, trailers great, and gets along great with other horses. She was previously with cattle and other livestock and unfortunately the goats did get to her tail, but don’t worry it will soon be as luscious as her mane! She also will stand perfectly to be saddled, groomed, and for the farrier. Dolly is up-to-date with the farrier and vet, including a clinical exam and x-rays.
Our most important fact about Dolly is her kind-hearted personality that gets her all the attention! No matter where she goes, she catches everyone’s eyes and soon after she catches their heart as well. Everywhere we’ve taken this mare has resulted in swarms of people coming to say hello and play with that gorgeous hair!
