Broodmare/leisure horse looking for new tasks

Longo's Chantal is a 164 cm tall DSP mare born on April 05, 2009. She is by Longo xx - Consul (Caletto II) and is registered in Stud Book 1. An excerpt from the breeding register is available. She has had a total of three foals, the last of which was a prize-winning colt born in 2021. The filly born in 2018 has so far competed up to medium (M) level show jumping.

Longos Chantal has only been used in the leisure arena and is therefore unused. Since 2021, she has been able to enjoy her life exclusively in the paddock for private reasons. In January 2025, we slowly started to push her again, and she is very well-behaved, motivated and willing to work. We plan to start training her under saddle with a rider from around the end of March. Due to an uncomplicated paddock injury on 17.02.25, training is currently still taking place exclusively on the ground.
Chanti is very uncomplicated in everyday life (with the exception of touching her ears), is friendly towards people and sometimes cuddly. She can be walked by strangers or children without any problems. Even leaving the stable/getting ready alone is no problem. She can be handled at any time (even on a halter). In unfamiliar/new situations she tends to stop and look instead of running away. She enjoys being groomed extensively. Spraying also works well. The only thing you should avoid is hectic behavior with the hind hooves. However, she is happy to be forged and loaded.

Since January 2025, she has been seen by a veterinary practitioner three times as a precautionary measure and has been treated almost daily to create an optimal starting situation. She also knows and likes the solarium. In addition, the first two vaccinations of the basic immunization (influenza + tetanus) were carried out.

Chanti currently stands in the paddock during the day and in the box at night, but is also used to being kept in an open stable. She is well tolerated in the herd. She is currently stabled with another mare. However, she is also familiar with mixed herds.

We would like Longos Chantal to have a permanent caregiver who likes to spend time with her several times a week. In the future, we see her as a potential broodmare as well as a leisure horse.
