Ich vermute, dass er sich bei einem Freizeitreiter oder in einer Familie,  die von ihm lernen möchten, am wohlsten fühlt. Er kann gut von Kindern, auch vom Boden aus, gehändelt werden und ist auch schon Reiter- und Dressurreiterwettbewerbe mitgelaufen. Ampereo ist ein sehr menschenbezogenes Pferd, der eine Familie/ Partner sucht, der im viele Streicheleinheiten schenkt. 
In der Bodenarbeit hat er die Basics kennengelernt, woran er viel Freude zeigte. Allerdings wurde diese nun lange nicht mehr gefördert.
