Tornado Boy has seen every bit of all the outside miles riding out in open fields,he’ll go through rough terrain up and down steep hills, over logs and cross creeks and through belly deep water,goes through the obstacle courses,he’s one that you can cross the country with a nice loose rein and does it with ease no matter if it’s walk, trot or canter,and will lope nice circles out in the open fields,he has seen many miles on the roads in very busy traffic and down town,we’ve had him on over night trips he’s been out after dark many times both riding and driving and takes it like a champ .Tornado Boy is also very broke in the arena where he has a one hand neckrien,knows all leg cues and is very soft in the bridle and supple in his body parts,he has three very smooth gates W/T/C and for sure his canter, you could lope him all day and not getting tired of it,he will side pass,pivot,open/close gates and as you can see he does that all with out a bridle as well being ridden bareback with absolutely nothing on him that’s just how willing and the great mind he has and does good with the tarp,ball and bullwhip.Now let me tell you about how gentle he’s is and how much he loves attention Especially from little ones and you can feel 100% safe when they are around him,The niece and nephew sure have enjoyed playing with him and having rides on him,it don’t matter how old or how young you are he will take care of you and whatever you ask he will do so and as I haven’t mentioned he has seen many miles on the trails and absolutely loves it and is a dream to go trail riding.
Tornado Boy has also had a lot of English riding and is doing great with that as well,he knows all his transitions, he’s doing great on his lateral work and sure is a pleasure to ride in English tack as well, he has that smooth uphill canter what people are looking for and also if you looking for a dream carriage driving horse Tornado Boy would be the one The whole family has driven him no matter if it’s through the day or in the dark he has done it and sure is a joy to drive and as you can see you can hitch him up by yourself and will stand patiently. Tornado Boy does great being stalled and out in pasture with other and never gets into trouble he’s always Quiet and takes care of himself.He is absolutely perfect to shoe my farrier has said many of times that he is a complete gentleman and does not flinch at all and that is a plus!He stands tied to be groomed,saddled and to mount and if you don’t have a stepstool you can take him alongside a fence or you name it and get on from there or lay him down and get on from there and that’s another thing he loves to do is laying down and will lay his head in your lap,he is also great being bathed.Tornado Boy is up to date on dewormer and teeth and is very healthy and stays sound, he is very easy to have around and a easy keeper.
