Captain is a handsome, 6 year old, jet black registered American Dutch Harness gelding that stands 16h, and has incredible conformation. He is a very versatile gelding that rides English, western, and drives. Captain is an absolute natural at jumping and seems to really enjoy it, making him an amazing prospect as a hunter jumper. He is also coming along very well in dressage, and looks lovely under a western saddle for western dressage. Captain is most comfortable under saddle, and where we feel he will continue to excel in English riding. He is a gorgeous mover that easily catches your eye. Captain has been ridden inside and outside. He is comfortable out on the trails as well as in the arena. He will cross water, logs, and go through obstacles. He is quickly advancing in maneuvers under saddle. Even with time off, Captain can be tacked up and mounted without any funny business. He handles pressure well, and is such a fancy prospect for the show pen. Captain is a sensible gelding that has been a pleasure to train. He is very personable and easy to handle on the ground. Captain is also great for the farrier, and trims/shoes easily. If you are looking for a fancy gelding to show, or ride for pleasure, Captain is who you want in your barn!
