Abraxas is a beautiful bay quarter horse, draft cross gelding. Abraxas is the ultimate ranch, trail gelding, he is easy to mount, lift your inside rein up and he will side pass over to his rider for them to mount! He stands quietly to mount, groom and saddle, he picks up all 4 feet and is great for the farrier!!
Abraxas has been used extensively on the ranch and is a finished reliable cow catching machine! He has absolutely no buck or freshness to him! We have gathered cattle, branded, sorted and he has been on a few hunting trips!
He has no spook, he is sure footed and is built to last! Abraxas has no spook and has been around city traffic and is great with waiting patiently at cross walks, he will walk over logs, crosses water and plows through thick rocky brush. Abraxas would excel in any type of discipline as he is finished in the arena, he catches both leads, he neck reins and will collect up in the bridle. He has been under English gear and will go over cross rails. He would excel in becoming a Pick Up horse as he is good with loud announcers and doesn’t get spooked!
