Valentino van 't Klavertje Vier is a son of Taran de la Pomme (1.60m with Kevin Staut) and carries bloodlines of Denzel van 't Meulenhof, Darco and Nabab de Rêve, among others. This Nabab mare is none other than Candy, who won the prestigious Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows with Pieter Devos. This exceptional family has produced numerous top horses that have jumped and won at the highest level, such as Handy van HD (1.60m), Important de Muze (1.65m), Millar (1.60m), Dixson (1.60m, Ian Millar), Faraday (1.60m) and Hanna van HD.
