On the ground Rarity is incredibly sweet and easy enough for anyone to handle! She has excellent ground manners: leads, loads, ties, crossties, stands well to be tacked up, groomed and bathed. Her personality is as in-your-pocket as they come. Rarity absolutely loves cuddles, scratches, and attention in general!
Rarity is very easy going and a star citizen around the farm. She tolerates all of our antics including the goats, cows, donkeys, dogs and cats that come with it. Rarity rides bareback, walks over the teeter-totter, and is a saint for clipping. She is the same pony off property that she is at home. Ropings, barrel races, hunter jumper shows… Rarity has walked off the trailer and ridden around just about every venue you can think of!
Under saddle Rarity is quiet and wise far beyond her years. She has a snaffle mouth and is an uncomplicated ride. Rarity has three beautiful, smooth gaits, great transitions, and flying changes both directions! While she has recently undergone five months of hunter/ jumper training, Rarity rides Western just as well! She’s happy to trail ride, push the cows, and has even had a rope swung off of her. When it comes to hunter-land, this pony has a huge step that will get her down the lines easily. Rarity was started over fences in August and she is a natural, already schooling up to 2’6ft with ease! She can take a joke and is very brave to the fence, always giving a great effort. Rarity has the potential to excel in any discipline and is easy enough for a junior to develop!
