Rip has been used as a ranch horse early in life and has been used as a lesson horse for the last three years for intermediate riders in and out of the arena. When he is not giving lessons he is often used to help pony and exercise some of the show horses here at the ranch. The type of gelding that can sit for months and be pulled up and rode off without any problems. Is intermediate youth suitable (would work for beginners, but he takes a big step at the extended trot). Easy keeper with good feet. Stands tied all day, knows how to lunge, lead and load with ease. Could easily make a play day or junior rodeo gelding in the right hands. Easy keeper and gets along by himself or in a pasture full of other horses.
