“Hollywoods Playright” – 15.1H, 2016′ buckskin AQHA gelding. Hollywood is a GORGEOUS solid, safe, solid guy. He is the prime-age and ideal size that everyone is looking for and he is about as easy to ride as a horse comes. He has smooth, easy gaits, and that simple, one-hand, old-school ranch horse style handle that just about anyone can get alone well with! He is smooth at the walk and trot and incredibly soft and smooth to lope, very comfortable even for new riders. This guy is so pleasant to be around – everyone who has ever handled this horse or sat on him, absolutely adores him. He is relaxed, but still responsive, just a blast to ride. Hollywood has been used outside on a ranch and has been roped off of outside on the ranch, and also in the arena on the head side. Hollywood stands like a statue for mount and dismount and is so relaxed and easy going, he rides to your level and is happy just to cruise around if that is all you want to do! He is also willing to work and will glady trot and lope circles for just about any style and level of rider and naturally has a big stop and is really quiet and simple to guide around. We have used this guy for total beginners and also for riders just coming back from a bad experience and he is a great confidence builder and makes everyone feel right at home on his back. For advanced riders, he will ride up to your level and is very fancy broke and can be feely and responsive when asked to be. He is as pure as they get and very genuine – he stays together, honest, and rides around – even with his bridle off. He is very personable, sweet, and kind! Hollywood has been tons and tons of miles outside but has also been hauled to many events and acts like an old seasoned rodeo horse. He loves trail riding in a group, and is just as comfortable out alone with his rider. He enjoys hopping in the trailer and going to new places and he loves riding in traffic around town. Hollywood was just shod this week. His teeth were also just done by an equine dentist this past spring and at the same time he had his sheath cleaned, his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power packed wormed. Hollywood has great feet and goes really well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled, prior to him heading to his new home.
