If you want gentle and completely safe for the whole family you need to check out Corn Cob. I will guarantee this gelding in every way. Corn Cob comes with my stamp of approval and is truly one of a kind! He stands at 15.1 hands tall and has all the shape in the world. His golden color and snow-white mane and tail make you feel like he’s been pulled right out of a fairytale book. Corn Cob makes a statement everywhere he goes! Not only is he gorgeous but he checks all the other boxes too! Safe, safe, safe every time you catch him. Corn Cob is super easy going and wants to always be a good boy. Gentle and easy to handle in the saddle and on the ground. Corn Cob is the first horse to meet you at the gate to be caught and stands completely still while you put the halter on. After catching him you can swing up on him bareback and ride him back to the barn! Corn Cob is absolutely gentle for anyone and loves any attention he can get. This gelding is everyone’s favorite out here at the barn because he is truly a dream to ride. Corn Cob can take you from the mountain tops to the winners circle. This gelding is as broke as you want one. Short lopes off and feels like you are sitting on a rocking chair. His speed control is amazing and is more of a push-to-go type of horse, but so trained he easily takes his correct leads with just a smooch and neck reins with the lightest touch. When you say “whoa” all four feet are like a statue. This gelding is the perfect mix of Cowboy Cool and an All-Around Showman.
Corn Cob is great out on the ranch. He is naturally cowy and good in the sorting pens and gathering cattle out of big pastures. He ground ties where you drop a rein, side passes to all the gates and can pull a semi truck if you roped it. Corn Cob is a trooper out on the trails and is confident alone, will lead a group, or happily trail behind. He goes where you point him and doesn’t say no. He’s accustomed to lots of wild life, crazy dogs, pigs, camels, buffalo, and cattle. Blowing tarps, loud gunfire, busy traffic, and heavy machinery do not faze him either. Corn Cob will literally walk through fire for you! There isn’t anything this gelding can’t handle! This gelding loves baths and loves when all the kids around the ranch groom him. He loves eating the cookies right out of their hands. Corn Cob has a big personality and is a fun horse to have around the barn. He’s the kind that anyone will be proud to own.
