Maverick is a 7yr old grade quarter horse buckskin dun gelding that stands 15 hands. He has excellent confirmation and is stout made. This has been one of my personal go to Horses on the ranch for several years now. This horse is very experienced at all things that need done around the ranch. He is extra fancy broke to ride and is easy to operate. Never offered to be humpy or cinchy. He always rides level headed and quiet. He is very good too Ride in the arena as well. We have done some team roping on him and he makes it easy. Equally good on both ends. He does everything he does correctly. Hes been in good hands his whole life. He’s got a great turnaround and will softly lope anywhere you point in. He is trained to side step over and let you get on him off of the fence or mounting block or anything you can climb up on. This horse is outstanding in the branding pen and will pull calves all day and does not get bothered by all the other commotion. He is one of my favorite horses in the spring time to get to go Brand calves on. This horse has been used in the mountains and down in the wet creek bottoms and he Crosses everything you can throw at him confidently. He is smooth to ride and makes it easy to open and close gates. He is a perfect gentleman on the ground at everything he does. Shoe , haul, bathe and tie. This horse has earned my respect and he will be missed. These kind don’t come along Very often.
