Dutton is one of those geldings you will search a lifetime to find- he’s the perfect size to have tons of fun on! Dutton has a good pedigree, a great mind and all the athletic ability you could ask for! He is a 7-year-old, AQHA sorrel gelding, that stands right at 14.3 hh with lots of substance, shape and isn’t hard to look at either!! We cannot say enough good things about Dutton and have owned him for four years! He is easy to ride, in the arena he stands to be mounted, walks off nicely every time, has a nice jog, lopes nice circles, takes his leads, rides on a loose rein, has a nice stop, neck reins, knows leg cues, spins and backs up. He will really ride around when asked to, but also rides super calm, quiet and collected. Dutton has seen lots of outside miles- he crosses water, goes up and down the hills, over the logs and through the mud. Dutton has a great start in the breakaway roping and has been used to check cattle. In the breakaway roping he leaves hard, tracks his calf, stops good and is ready to go on with and be seasoned. He is quiet and gentle, loves attention, is easy to catch, stands tied all day, stands to be brushed, saddled, and bridled. Dutton also stands good for the farrier and veterinarian, loads good, hauls well, is good in a stall or pastures well, he is good with both mares and geldings.
