This big gorgeous gentle gelding is multi functional!
Boon has been used in all aspects of ranch/cow work from riding pens and shipping cattle at feed yards to roping and doctoring yearlings on wheat pasture.
He has also been started in the arena on the sled roping both ends and ready to take to the box and finish out however you see fit. Boon is a real people pleaser he’s the same horse every time you throw a leg over him, ready and willing for whatever the day may bring
On his days off from work I’ve taken him to the Palo duro Canyon state park as well as the Canadian river for many a trail riding adventures with the kids. An 8yr old little girl has started patterning this horse on the barrels and has even taken him English!! He is always gentle and easy to get along with.
Good footed, straight legged, doesn’t need any kind of special shoeing
No maintenance and no vet issues not a hair out of place anywhere, he loads, ties, washes good as well as stands good for the farrier. Absolutely no buck, bite or kick
Boon is ready to go on and excel in any direction and this is a very GOOD horse.
