“Maximus” – 14.2H, 6 year old white Cremello quarter horse gelding Maximus is a super stout made gorgeous gelding, just coming into his prime years. If you have been looking for something super laid back and gentle – and are not wanting to settle for an older horse, then definitely check out this guy and watch his whole video! Maximus got his miles in his working clothes; he was mostly used outside on a ranch, and used in the sorting pens and in the feedlots. He is massive made, super stout and wide – the model on him in the video is literally 6’2 and she is ALL legs! He has great bone and is made to last. Maximus has a good stop, a nice easy handle, he trots and lopes around super balanced and relaxed. He has a simple one-handed handle and will ride anywhere pitched away on a nice long loose rein at any gait. He is a pretty mover, naturally very balanced and smooth, he is a very comfy ride at all gaits. Maximus was raised out in big open country – but he absolutely loves going to town. He is super relaxed going down the side of the highway, and down the busy streets in town. He loves meeting people and seeing all the things that there are to see. He rides out great alone, and has probably been more miles alone than he has in groups. He is easy to get along with and lives outside well in a group of horses, or he is happy kept inside in the stall barn. He is easy to catch and always comes up to you, he loves being around people and he loves going to work. He stands tied quietly, is easy to saddle and bridle and he stands dead still for you to step on and off. He loves a bath and really enjoys playing in the water. He is great at crossing creeks and loves to go for a swim in the river or pond. He hops right on the trailer easily, and stands quietly on the trailer as well as tied off on the side of the trailer. He has no vices or bad habits and is a fresh clean slate for someone to finish out as a rope horse, if you want to go that direction with him.
