Introducing HQH RIOS COMET aka “Comet” is a AQHA palomino gelding that is 4 years old and is standing at 15.3 hands tall with an exceptionally well confirmation and is built to last! Comet is absolutely drop dead gorgeous he has a long mane and tail, with all 4 clean legs. He is one that one would drool over and he rides around exactly the way one should! In the arena Comet has a super solid foundation and will ride around as gentle as they come! Comet is a beautiful mover and will have a nice one hand neck rein on him, will walk, jog with a good headset, and lope easy steady circles in the arena. Picks up both leads and only goes the desired speed of his rider. He can be ridden either English or western and will excel well in either. Comet will stand still to mount and dismount, and has sorted cows before. This gelding has the looks and the brains to continue successfully in any discipline! He is a great trail horse as well he has been on many miles of trail and all kinds of terrain. Comet will cross water, brush and logs easily. He has been rode on the road and is used to all kinds of traffic and all of our heavy machinery here on the farm. He will ride out alone or in a big group, you can just throw the reins away and just point and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride on him. On the ground Comet is a total gentleman, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He has great ground manners, stands tied very nicely, pawing or nickering. Picks up all four feet, is great for the farrier, vet, to bath and tack up. He is also easy to catch and handle. He loads in the trailer perfectly and hauls quietly. Comet gets along great with other horses and is in the middle to lower on the pecking order. He does good with time off and will ride off the same every time. Comet is selling with a current negative coggins, rabies vaccine, recent dental work and shod on all four feet.
