Sparks is 15.2 hands but moves with agility and ease! He has been started slowly and correctly. He rides equally well in the arena or in the pasture. He is great to ride out alone. He rides away from the barn at the same speed at which he returns to the barn. He is confident and willing on trail obstacles and is also right at home amid cattle.
Sparks has no buck whatsoever. When given a couple of weeks off, he cinched up and rode off like an old horse, no lunging required! Spookiness is not his style. Plus, he is always up for trying something new. He does have some speed if you ask him but is content in the lower gears unless asked.
