Allow me to introduce to you “Anything But Serious” who we call Jackson, aka Mr Personality. Jackson is a 2010 model 16.3h AQHA, APHA, PHBA and Pinto registered gelding, with as much love to give as you’ll allow. He is a super in your pocket type, we always say if we’d let him in the house he’d crawl up beside you on the couch like the family dog. He loves attention, to be groomed, and loved on. He has spent the last year and a half with me, and spending the last 5 months giving lessons to novice and amateur riders, as well being shown in some Hunter classes by the youth and being trail ridden. He has experience in Hunter under saddle, has been jumped on small courses 2’6-3ft, showmanship, and dabbled in some western pleasure as well. He handles trail riding like a champ, crossing logs, ditches, and hilly terrain. He would be a great fit for a youth looking for a 4H horse, or a gelding that has been there and done that in the show ring. He can be a versatile horse whether you choose to ride english, or western disciplines. Jackson has a floaty trot and a canter that is extremely easy to sit, very responsive to his leg ques and neck rein, and will woah on a vocal command. He stands for the farrier, does good for mounting, loves a bath, loads in the trailer, catches you in the pasture, and picks up all his feet. He is not a spooky kind of horse, more of a go with the flow kind of personality. Has been around cows, dogs, cats, goats, pigs, and is perfectly fine with all of them. Are you worried about his size and mounting him from the ground? No worries, Jackson will politely sidepass to a mounting block, truck bed, log, or whatever else you desire to make mounting easier. He does great out with a mixed herd of horses, or can be stalled. Jackson is current on his coggins, dental work, chiropractic work, and has a fresh set of shoes on.
