If you are looking for a friendly been there, done that type of horse, Kid is your guy. Kid has a great handle… moves off your leg and rides around one handed. He moves with grace and agility making him a pleasure to ride and even watch. With Peptoboonsmal breeding, this gelding has the mindset, athleticism, and motor to be a performance horse. He is fun to haul around to local gymkhanas and ranch sortings. He could do well with team roping as well. However, most of Kid’s time with us has been spent working cattle, in both ranch and feedlot, and trail riding. Kid has roped all classes of cattle both inside and out on pasture. He has sorted, shipped, gathered, and pulled sick cattle. From high country to city trails, Kid has been exposed to just about everything imaginable… Traffic, bicycles, wildlife, vagrants, and the list goes on. Kid is a gentleman for the vet and farrier. He is currently kept out on pasture in a mixed herd of geldings, mares, mules and ponies, and he gets along with everyone. He is also easy to catch out on pasture and usually comes out to meet you. He likes getting caught and he likes to go out on adventures. He has been healthy, with no known soundness or health issues. He does not require any maintenance and is a generally easy keeper.
