Chimuelo aka “Chimmy” is absolutely one of a kind. He’s a 14 yr old, 14.1H grade sorrel gelding with a personality as big as Texas. Chimmy is a very easy going, gentle gelding that will go anywhere you point him. He absolutely ZERO spook, buck bolt or rear and is just plain EASY to get along with. I’ve had this gelding over a year. My original hopes were to make him a barrel horse, and while he’s not too shabby in the barrel pen, he’s much happier out on trails or working cows. Chimuelo is easy to handle and will neck rein and move off leg. He’ll ride in any bridle, or hackamore and has a heart that aims to please. I know this gelding inside and out and don’t have one negative thing to say about him. You’ll attract attention everywhere you go and will stand for hours while you and your friends use him as the most hilarious photo prop. When Chimmy was younger, he was kicked in the front of his mouth, knocking out his bottom right teeth. When relaxed, he let his tongue hang out his mouth. This DOES NOT effect the way he eats or drinks and is still able to graze, eat alfalfa cubes and grain normally. It is simply just the most noticeable attribute about him and only highlights his fun living character. Chimmy has a huge heart and being loved on and paid attention to is his favorite thing. This is why it’s only fair I find him a home a new person who has time to do so. He’ll take you anywhere you want to go, in town, on the trail, parades, through water, over logs, you name it and he’ll be your ride or die. I’ve used him primarily to pleasure ride, sit on at ropings, ride in town, and run barrels occasionally. He’s one you can jump on anytime you want and just go. Chimmy is utd on feet, teeth and coggins and is ready for his new home. He loads, leads, bathes, and ties perfectly and is a no bs, easy going guy! We will be sad to see him go!
