Remi is a 13 year old appaloosa crossbred gelding that stands a STOUT 15 hands tall. He is cleaned legged with no bumps, blemishes or scars. Remi has a great shape to him and has the most pretty head and little ears on an appy cross. Remi is gentle to handle and absolutely a babysitter under saddle! We have ridden Remi both English and western and he does well with both, he can be arena ridden or go down the trail. Remi is very smooth and easy to sit through all three gaits and has a soft mouth, nice stop and will neck rein. Remi has been ridden bridleless and respects just a small neck rope with ease. We have ridden Remi carrying a flag, umbrella and even on the mechanical cow, he does it all willingly and quietly. Remi has been exposed to gun fire and can be shot off of with confidence. He will cross bridges, water and tarps with no issues!!! I have used Remi in my western lesson program for beginner riders and he was great for private lessons and in a group setting as well. He will ride out on the trail alone or in a group and is a trail boss through and through. He will go over, through and anywhere you point him! He is good out in the lead or will bring up the rear and is safe for other horses to ride up behind him or along side of him. Remi is traffic safe, dog safe and good around ATVs and machinery. Remi has been on countless over night camping trips and is quiet on a high-line overnight. Remi would be suitable for beginners and up and would easily take care of anyone from a kid to your grandma. Remi is quiet single tied or in cross ties- good to groom/bathe and saddle, takes the bit nicely, and is a gentleman on the ground and in his stall. He is great turned out in a mixed herd or alone and is easy to catch. Remi has been around cattle and will track them around and let you throw a rope off him.
