Dan is an 11yr old bay gelding. Standing firmly at 15HH and thick as a brick, with sturdy bone and all the shape you could ask for! Dan is the epitome of kindness, patience, and a gentle nature. He is grandma safe, and toddler approved! His calm and collected demeanor is constant, even in challenging, intense situations. He is suitable for all level riders, from true beginners to advanced. Dan’s relaxed approach to trails ensures a safe and enjoyable experience. He has been hauled all over, from high mountain trails to noisy, packed beaches. He goes anywhere you point him without hesitation. He will walk, trot, lope both ways nice and steady with a level head set. He is very easy to que and has all the patience in the world with green riders. He has more “whoa than go” and never gets in a rush, but is willing to do anything you ask of him. Dan has zero spook or bad habits. You could not ride him for months and he’s going to act just like no time as past. He will stand all day tied without moving, hauls like a dream and clips and bathes without a problem. He is a farriers favorite horse to shoe and always easy to catch anywhere you put him up. His lack of malice and kind heart makes him a trusted companion. Horses like Dan are true gems and hard to find!
