Concho has been used outside doctoring sick cattle, gathering vast pastures and loading trucks. He is no stranger to a full days work and he is willing to work all day long. This gelding is safe and gentle for anyone who wants to climb aboard, he is not a dead head and is actually fun to ride. We've hauled him to the World Series jackpots and flagged on him, he doesn't mind any commotion and is just as happy being flagged on as he is being roped on. Prior to us owning him Concho was hauled all over as a head horse, he's a PRCA money earner and has been to CNR and World Series Finale. He's been through tons of rope barriers and even more arenas. Concho will get along with a 4+ roper on up, he's the real deal and will fit the #10's on up to the open. Whether you're looking for a weekend jackpotter or something you can haul to the Highschool Rodeos, etc, this horse fits it. He scores, leaves flat, plenty of speed and can really face.
Aside from being a rope horse he is a solid individual who is also very broke in the bridle and willing to do whatever he's pointed at. He is easy to ride and knows both leads, stops with ease and has the slowest little rocking horse lope.
We've patterned him on barrels and he would fit anyone wanting to go have fun at the barrel race. He has been hauled to cowboy challenge courses and never hesitates. Concho summered in Colorado where he was ridden through the mountains, then came to Arizona for the winter where he's now ridden through the desert. If you're in the market for one that's seen it all, here he is.
