Pumpkin is a 10-year-old, 15-hand gelding with a heart of gold! This sweet and affectionate boy adores people and has exceptional ground manners. He self-loads, backs out of the trailer with ease, and will stand tied all day without a fuss. He loves being bathed, is fantastic for both the vet and farrier, and has been barefoot his whole life! In the herd, Pumpkin is an easygoing, low-ranking horse who gets along with everyone—horses and livestock alike. Pumpkin is truly versatile, riding both English and Western with confidence. He looks absolutely adorable in an English saddle, knows his collection and leads, and is currently working on flying changes and cross rails. He’ll trot around on a loose rein, pick up a lope off a simple cluck or kiss, and will stop just from your voice. He also has a neck rein! When it comes to trail riding, Pumpkin is a total star! He’s surefooted and brave, handling rugged terrain with ease. Traffic, commotion, and new environments don’t phase him—he’s even been ridden through the drive-thru! Whether you’re looking for a reliable trail companion, a fun arena horse, or a laid-back partner with a big personality, Pumpkin is as solid as they come. Pumpkin does require light maintenance for one stifle if you are wanting to do strenuous work although he is just fine to trail ride and jump on as seen in his video with no maintenance.
