Purchase a piece of Texas’s Ranch History!
Becacos Warecat AKA Beggs is a 2015 AQHA bay roan gelding that stands 15.0HH and weighs 1300 lbs. Beggs was breed and raised by the historical Beggs Cattle Company and sold as a 2-year-old through the legendary 6666’s Select Sale and started his life as a ranch horse and has proven be one the best ones! Not only is he a great ranch horse, but he’s also an outstanding family, trail and kid’s horse along with being a finished on the head and heel side.
Beggs is absolutely safe for anyone, of any age, level, or experience. We can sell him with 110% confidence that he has no buck, bite, bolt, rear, kick, vices, or bad behaviors! On the trails, Beggs is a more woah than go, alone or in a group, unfazed type of guy! He goes anywhere you point him with no hesitation, crossing water, logs, bridges, thicket, and more. He is sure-footed and takes great care of his rider(s). He is accustomed to all the crazy things, dogs, machinery, gunfire, traffic, wildlife and any else under the sun! His owner’s dog will even hitch a ride on the back of his saddle to spare a few miles in the oat fields.
He has been hauled to numerous ranch rodeos by his current owner of 5 years, so he is accustomed to new sights and situations! He is gentle enough for the kids to learn how to rope and ride, compete in the playdays, or the ranch rodeos. He has been used by an 8-year-old little boy to doctor yearlings and sort pairs, along with the ranch owner’s wife. He will stand all day long at the end of a rope, stays strong to the horn, and athletic on a cow when asked. He is honest enough for someone with a small operation to pull out of the pasture with months off and go fulfill ranch duties.
In the arena, if you are seeking a smooth trot and canter, watch this gelding’s video! He will short lope perfect circles all day long! He is soft in the bridle, supple in his rib cage and carries himself with class. He could easily transition into the cutest little ranch versatility or ranch trail partner. Beggs side passes to gates, pivots on his haunches, and backs up with ease. He is so well trained it does not take an experienced rider or fancy equipment to access these buttons, he will do them bareback and a halter, if asked!
Back at the barn, Beggs is a simple old sole. He has absolutely no weave, cribbing, etc. He adjusts well to being stalled or turned-out full time. He is a great patient for the vet, ground ties for the farrier and is UTD on everything! He can be turned out in any type of herd setting and obviously don’t mind his pasture mate chewing out his mane, which will grow back! He self-loads onto the trailer and backs off. He will stand tied all day long for mounting, tacking, grooming, or bathing.
Beggs is located at our ranch in Lufkin, Texas! We are more than willing to help arrange shipping anywhere! Serious parties are welcome to come meet and ride him in person or do their own vetting. AQHA Papers and signed ownership transfer are in hand! We want Beggs to find his forever home and build a great relationship with his new owners! Please do not hesitate to give me (Bailey) a call at (330) 243-5233 with any questions and to discuss more about Beggs.

Pedigree:
Sired by “Waresthecat” ((High Brow Cat) PE - $3.2M +, Sire of multiple NCHA, NRHA, & RHAA Champions) out of a daughter of the 6666’s great “Playin Attraction” (LTE $111,000+ , NRCHA Open Futurity Res. Champion).
